My first solo exhibition abroad is taking place in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, at the Tong-in Gallery, a famous space that turns 100 next year!
How did this happen? I'll tell you:
When my husband and I went on vacation to South Korea, we found the Tong-In Shop. A metal plaque on the floor announced that it opened in 1924. And for almost a century, it has been promoting and distributing ceramic art worldwide. Exhibition halls are located on the third and fourth floors. And imagine my surprise when, among the exhibits, I easily found works by famous ceramicists from all over the world, whose work I'd dreamed of seeing in person! My husband decided to show my work to the managers of the Tong-in space, and you already know the result – my plates are on display! This is a great honor and a wonderful achievement for me!
